It's really nice to know I'm not the only world!whore around. XD It's definitely the same way for me in HP--as soon as we hit Diagon Alley in the first book, I was in love. I wasn't even attached to any of the characters until Umbridge (who I love to hate), but the books were gripping anyway. ASOIAF benefits from awesome world, plot, and characters, but it's the little details (house words! I love house words!) make me the fangirl that I am. It's nice to get lost in a brand new world where everything's new and exciting.

Both have so large of worlds made.
This is the best quarter-to-5AM sentence I've ever read. I'm just saying.

world!whores ftw!! I may need to make that some kind of tag. XD XD XD And yea, HP!world is so awesome. I also gobble up all the extra stuff JK's given because it adds to it, adds history and depth and whatnot. And oh yes ASOIAF is even so much more better on that! And yea, I love all the little details, and I've rarely if ever written fic on major people, mostly minor and/or historical!
